Conversation because that is what interests people – it's what they do and it's what we do. InTheStudio produces conversations as interviews, panels, classes – anything where people talk. Why? Advocacy is why we are here. Our mission is to make the world better by advocating for those things we and our clients believe in: sustainability, social entrepreneurship, human worth and dignity, democracy. So we work for people, companies, authors and organizations that reflect our values. We don't work for free – we are social entrepreneurs who combine making a living with advocating for a better quality of life for people around the world. But we do spend the time and effort to make what we do as perfect as possible, as economically as possible and as a effective as possible.

Our Community is the Internet, the platform for our podcasts, a many-to-many technology. Community is part of the Internet's DNA and part of our DNA. Which is why at the bottom of each page of this website is our guiding principle: The best gift you can give your friends is your friends. Conversation is a way of giving friends to friends and we give that gift by connecting people, providing links, comments and other tools to help our clients build communities.

Finally, Hope. While we are delighted that the United States will have a leader for the next four or even eight years who was elected with a message of hope, we look beyond that. By helping to empower organizations and people who bring solutions to our world's many problems, we hope we add hope – and without hope, there is no change.
